FAMILIAR WITH "LOTUS 123", "PRISM",   I HAVE WORKED ON A CONTRACT BASIS, SINCE 1979,. I HAVE HELD A BRITISH MINISTRY OF DEFENCE SECURITY CLEARANCE. I HAVE WORKED IN THE UK, AZERBAIJAN, THE USA, EIRE, France & NORWAY.

Although from a Shipbuilding origin Barry has spent the last twenty years mainly in the Offshore Design Fabrication Industry gaining CAD experience - working and practical knowledge of Intergraph Microstation Version IV ,V, SE, & AutoCad R14, Windows 95 and Microsoft Excel.

Wide range of experience throughout the UK, Holland, Belgium and Canada spanning 24 years in the oil, petrochemical, gas and nuclear industries, computer aided design (including '3D' model building and clash resolution), supervision of draughting teams, site surveys and MTO.Also pipe support design production, including co-ordinating and supervision of pipe support squads.

Experienced in all aspects of Petro-chem and Offshore Piping Design and Construction from grass roots to start-up, including: Plant Layout, Design Studies - Pipe Support Design - 3D Computer Aided Design - 2D Drafting - Isometric Co-ordination/Checking - Design Squad Supervision - Job site Design Modifications
